Cilip Conference 2015 2-3 July 2015, Liverpool, UK

2 June / Exhibition news

Our sister Company Thedesignconcept has a stand inside this conference where will be shown a variety of our products

This event builds on the success of Umbrella 2013, one of eight conferences shortlisted for Best Association Conference of the Year. We aim to continuously develop and improve our conference, and 2015 is no exception. We want to inspire our audience, share knowledge and raise debate, as well as offer networking opportunities throughout the conference. The CILIP Conference will take place annually and replaces the biennial Umbrella Conference.

Our programme of high profile speakers and focused themes has been designed to attract professionals from across the library, information and knowledge world. Keynote speakers already confirmed include; professor and author R. David Lankes; author, journalist and activist Cory Doctorow; and human rights activist and Director of Liberty, Shami Chakrabarti.

They will be part of our diverse programme covering four main themes:

  • Information management
  • Information literacy and digital inclusion
  • Demonstrating value
  • Digital futures and technology

With a new name, a new city and more high profile keynote speakers than ever before this will be our most memorable conference ever.

We also have our mobile library bus in the car park to showcase our furniture technology products.
